     H G Quinnelly Dam is charming and it's next to Spring Lake, and I-65 RV Campground is a splendid campground nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Spring Lake a wet location; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area close to Spring Lake has to offer. High temperatures at Spring Lake through the days of summer are in the 90's, and all through the  
   night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 50's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Spring Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.

Dead Lake Fishing Lodge

The Dead Lake Lodge is now the River Delta Marina and Welcome Center. It was purchased by Mobile County and is ow operated by their Parks Dept.

Campsites, boat launch, rentals, and boat slip rentalas are available. The fishing in this remote bit of the Mobile/Tensas river delta is very good for bass, bream and catfish.
Access to excellent hunting for deer, wild hogs, ducks and small game can also be found along these waterways.

The campground has four camping cabins, RV and tent sites, laundry and a small pool. Limited groceries and bait are available at the camp store.
