There's so much to do here at Sougahatchee Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chewacla State Park is a brilliant place for that. A lake nearby is Prather Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Auburn; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sougahatchee Creek. So many entertaining       things to do here at Sougahatchee Lake, too brilliant to be true. Sougahatchee Lake is not the only location nearby, Mezicks Pond is a nearby lake, and Little Uchee has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. High temperatures at Sougahatchee Lake during the summer months are in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 50's; nighttime lows at Sougahatchee Lake all through                  the winter frequently descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a perfect site to do that, and an interesting thing to have a look at in the vicinity of Sougahatchee Lake is Country Club Dam. Sougahatchee Lake gets lots of water; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is regularly the driest month.
