    If you are in Tuscaloosa county it's always a good idea to stop by Snag Lake. High temperatures at Snag Lake during the summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Snag Lake are in the 30's. Snag Lake usually gets a lot of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.  
   What a location this is for outdoors people. Payne Lake Westside Campground is a wonderful local campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Payne Lake Nature Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Snag Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Tuscaloosa, and Snag Lake Dam has good water scenery. Lakes are such calm places, why not explore Big Lake near Snag Lake; a cool spot to explore is Big Sandy Cutoff. Dry
 
               warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Tuscaloosa; there's some flowing water close by, Big Sandy Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here.
Why not camp at Knox Hill RV Resort while you're here at Snag Lake, and after a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Tuscaloosa is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. You'll locate a beautiful lake called Moon Lake near Snag Lake, and Bald Bar is a glorious spot to pop by. This lake is so wonderful.
