     If the weather is wonderful here at Snag Lake, you can go for a hike along the Payne Lake Nature Trail, and if you're dropping by from Tuscaloosa, you won't be the only one. If you're hooked on cool geologic features, try Big Sandy Cutoff, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Big Sandy Creek. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Snag Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Knox Hill RV Resort is a splendid place to camp, and Courtyard  
   Tuscaloosa is a splendid place to get some rest. Payne Lake Westside Campground is a good campground nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Moon Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rainfall makes Snag Lake a reasonably wet place; through March this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime highs at Snag Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows
 
               descend down to the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's while Snag Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Jameson Inn Tuscaloosa is a tremendous choice; Snag Lake is in close proximity to Bald Bar which is definitely worth visiting. There's some exciting stuff to see at Snag Lake Dam close to Snag Lake; as expected, this is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes, Big Lake is a lake close by.
