| | Tuscaloosa is a splendid place to get some rest. Payne Lake Westside Campground is a good campground nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Moon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rainfall makes Snag Lake a reasonably wet place; through March this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
