Not far from Smith Pond, you'll stumble on Jackson Hill Pond which is a striking lake, and this is a popular spot for people from Florence. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Club; if you need a site to stay Webster Hotel And Suites       is a good choice. If you came to camp Cherokee RV Park is a glorious site to do that, and a tremendous spot to check out is Cow Ford Bar. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Do set aside some time for Smith Bottom since you're here at Smith Pond, and there are other places here than Smith Pond, for example Dollison Pond. Smith Pond is a pretty wet place ordinarily with much rain; the wettest month of the year is generally March,                  that's the one that rains the most, and September is the month with the least moisture. At Smith Pond through the summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's.
