Man, is there a load of exciting things to do right next door to Skinners Lake. A nice close by hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Auburn/Opelika, and some of the water nearby flows, like Polecat Branch. Lakes? Sure, Kellys Pond is close by, and you can stay the night at Sawyer's       Mobile Home Estates. All the water falling down from the sky makes Skinners Lake a wet location; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful.
