This lake is so wonderful. Gunter Hill Park is a wonderful campground nearby, and the good people of Montgomery like to hang out close by. Sims Lake Number One regularly gets a lot of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's just no way anyone can get       bored here at Sims Lake Number One. A golf course near Sims Lake Number One is Magnolia Golf Club. Sims Lake Number One is not the only location close by, Pirtle Lake is a close by lake; if you need a location to stay Comfort Suites Montgomery is a splendid choice. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Sims Lake Number One. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's                  overnight here at Sims Lake Number One.
