This lake is so wonderful. Simmons Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Blanton Creek Park is a perfect local campground, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Lanett is a perfect choice. A glorious spot to camp here at Simmons Lake is 3 Creeks RV Park; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge       Lanett. You'll meet a lot of folks from Valley here, and a scenic lake like Riverside Number One Lake is a great place to have a look at. This place is unbeatable, just look at all the fun stuff to do close to Simmons Lake. You can run the rapids of Flat Shoals River close to Simmons Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Riverside Country Club is always a joy. Summer at Simmons Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's; the nighttime is rather colder                  of course, mostly in the 60's.
