This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Evergreen is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and Country Sunshine RV is a brilliant campground nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shipps Pond a wet site; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most       rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Shipps Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, River Springs Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. Lakes are perfect; Ed Pond is a lake that's near Shipps Pond. Summer at Shipps Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's.
