This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, David Lake is close to Sheppard Lake, and after a long day outdoors Windwood Inn Bay Minette is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Summertime at Sheppard Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down       into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Sheppard Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Louts Lake is a lake around here.
