A great deal of rain falls at Shelby Lakes; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Romar Beach by Sugar Sands Realty is a tremendous site to get some rest, and Little Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop       by. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Surfside RV Court is always a good experience, and if you get bored of Shelby Lakes you could also stop at nearby Oyster Bay. Near Shelby Lakes you hit upon a golf course called Gulf Links Golf Course, and people from Daphne-Fairhope love to come here. Through the summertime months at Shelby Lakes highs are ordinarily in the 80's.
