Through the months of summer at Samplers Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Samplers Lake are in the 20's. Samplers Lake usually gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; October is the month with the least       moisture. If you came to camp Willow Point Campground Center is a nice spot to do that; why not take a little tour to Hales Fork while you're here. Circle H Spring is an inspiring spot to go to while here, and if you come at the right time of year, Salt Creek offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. So many entertaining things to do at Samplers Lake, so little time. You could also go to Crystal Springs Lake since you're here at Samplers Lake;                  it's close by, and Samplers Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, River Country Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Anniston-Oxford here at Samplers Lake; if you've had enough of Samplers Lake, Boozers Lake is close by. You can take a little trip to Kellys Dam since you're here at Samplers Lake, and a fine close by hotel is Royal Inn Motel.
