     Alabama has many beautiful lakes and Samford Lake Number Two is one of them. If you need a location to stay Opelika-Days Inn is a good choice; get drenched paddling on Mulberry Creek. A lake close by is Pope Lake Number One; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Opelika is a great place to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of Samford Lake Number Two. There's so much to do here at Samford Lake Number Two that you need to camp here for a while, Baker's  
   Trailer Park and Campground is a magnificent location for that, and some nearby water includes Flake Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Auburn-Opelika. Samford Lake Number Two is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls all through March, and the driest of the months is October.
For the period of the warm months
 
               here at Samford Lake Number Two, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Samford Lake Number Two night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Samford Lake Number One is a nearby lake that you could visit, and paddling on Little Uchee is so much fun.
