     Soar down the rapids of Little Uchee in a kayak, and if you came to camp Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery is a splendid place to do that. A good nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Opelika; at Samford Lake Number Two you always meet someone from Auburn-Opelika. Throughout the summer highs here at Samford Lake Number Two reach the 90's with night lows in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime  
   temperatures at Samford Lake Number Two descend into the 30's. Samford Lake Number Two typically gets much rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Suites Opelika I85 Auburn Area is a wonderful choice, naturally you could also pop by Samford Lake Number One while you're here; it's not far at all. Whohoo, so much enjoyable
 
               stuff in one place! Samford Lake Number Two is excellent! Nearby lakes? Sure, Pope Lake Number One is near Samford Lake Number Two, and there's some flowing water nearby, Flake Creek is a stream you can stop by while here.
If you come at the right time of year, Mulberry Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and camping at Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is always a delightful experience.
