Samford Lake Number One is always a pleasure to visit. Pope Lake Number One is a nearby lake that you could pop by; get yourself into a kayak and hit Mulberry Creek. Samford Lake Number One gets a lot of water; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. One highs are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 50's; overnight lows at Samford Lake Number One during the wintertime usually descend into the 30's.
