Salt Pond gets a large amount       of water; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Lakes are good; Nellie Ponds is a lake that's close to Salt Pond, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Andalusia is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Salt Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the                  50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Salt Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
