Round Lake is near Marion Fish Hatchery Dam Number One which is a pretty place absolutely worth checking out; if you're here, you could also stop at wonderful Perry Lake. Near Round Lake you find the Payne Lake Nature Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Windwood Inn Brent/Centerville. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for       some flowing water? Try Mill Creek. There's so much to do here at Round Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spillway Campground is a splendid site for that. Round Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is March, and October on the other hand is the driest. All through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Round Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's; nighttime                  lows throughout the winter for Round Lake tend to be in the 30's.
