After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Andalusia is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; Rome Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Gantt Lake RV Park is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Conecuh Trail is a great hiking trail next to Rome Pond, and a wonderful place       to camp here at Rome Pond is Point A Park Campground. The high level of precipitation makes Rome Pond a quite wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. What a location this is for outdoors people. Summertime highs at Rome Pond frequently tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Rome Pond during                  the wintertime commonly descend into the 30's. This is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes.
