Rome Pond is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here; October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Andalusia Inn; there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Lake Shore Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Point A Park Campground is a magnificent location to camp,       and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Andalusia is a glorious choice. The Conecuh Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Rome Pond, and camping at Rome Pond is fine fun, River Springs Campground is a fine local campground. Summer at Rome Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 60's.
