While you're here at Rome Pond you can take a hike along the Lake Shore Trail. There's so much to do here at Rome Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gantt Lake RV Park is a fine place for that. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Rome Pond. High temperatures at Rome Pond through the summer are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime       highs all through the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Rome Pond are in the 30's. Mossy Ponds is a delightful lake close to Rome Pond, and Comfort Inn Andalusia is a nice site to get some rest. Going for a hike along the Conecuh Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; if you came to camp Point A Park Campground is a good spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
