Not far from Rockview Lake you obtain some great water scenery at Gilbert Tommie Lake Dam, and if you came to camp Mc Calla Koa Kampground is a good spot to do that. A magnificent site close to Rockview Lake is Jones Valley, and paddling on Six Mile Bend is so much fun. At Rockview Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 90's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, generally in the 60's. For the period of the winter       highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Rockview Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Value Place Bessemer is a wonderful location to get some rest, and you're probably interested in lakes, Gilbert Thomas Lake is one of those nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rockview Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture.                  Just can't get enough of Rockview Lake.
