Rays Pond is a nice lake to visit. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Sharon Campground is a magnificent place to camp. You could also have a look at Firemen Lake since you're here at Rays Pond; it's nearby; a great close by hotel is Turner's Motel. This lake is so wonderful. St Charles Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest, and an interesting thing to visit close to Rays Pond is Rays Pond Dam.

| | are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Rays Pond are in the 30's. Rays Pond frequently gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during March while October is ordinarily the driest month. Sugar Ridge Campground is a good campground here, and of course Cornett Mill Creek is a lovely stream that is worth checking out.
