Through the long summer days here at Porters Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout       the wintertime are in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Porters Lake. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Porters Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Porters Lake a wet place; March is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Guesthouse Dothan is a delightful place to get some rest; why not spend some time golfing                  at a close by golf course like Green Hill Golf Course.
