If you need a place to stay Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa is a great choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Poplar Pond has to offer, you can camp at Heritage Acres Recreational Vehicle Park. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Poplar Pond, too fine to be true. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Shoals the Golf Course is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Poplar Pond is       a great place to visit for more than one day, Tuscumbia RV Park is a great place to camp nearby. Lakes are fine; Riley Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Poplar Pond. During the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at Poplar Pond, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Poplar Pond plunge                  into the 20's. Not far from Poplar Pond, you'll discover Johnson Lake which is a charming lake, and Poplar Pond is a place with many visitors from Florence. A pleasant visit to Abernathy Bottom is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and a nice close by hotel is Comfort Inn Florence.
