     Lee County Public Lake Dam is not far at all from Pope Lake Number Two, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mulberry Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Baker's Trailer Park and Campground, and why not take a little journey to Flake Creek since you're here. Pope Lake Number Two gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most while October is mostly the driest month. Not  
   sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. You'll find a picturesque lake called Pope Lake Number One near Pope Lake Number Two, and a great close by hotel is Hampton Inn Suites Opelika I85 Auburn Area.
Glide down the rapids of Little Uchee in a kayak. During the days of summer at Pope Lake Number Two temperatures are typically in the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 50's, and all through
 
               the dark hours in the wintertime at Pope Lake Number Two temperatures plunge to the 30's. If you came for an overnight stay Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery is a good place to camp; do stop by Lee County Public Lake, it's a beautiful lake.
This is a popular spot for folks from Auburn-Opelika, and Econo Lodge Opelika is a wonderful location to get some rest.
