There are plenty of people from Auburn-Opelika here at Pope Lake Number Two; dry warm beds await you at Opelika-Days Inn. Pope Lake Number Two gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is March; the driest month of the year is October.
Summertime highs at Pope Lake Number Two generally tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is
 
   down it sinks down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Pope Lake Number Two are in the 30's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pope Lake Number Two has to offer, you can camp at Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery. Lee County Public Lake is a good lake right next door to Pope Lake Number Two, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mulberry Creek.
