Paddling on Tallapoosa River is so much fun; if you get bored of Pinkston Lake you could also explore close by Rutland Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Stone Creek, and Pinkston Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Forrer Number One is a nearby lake. Days Inn Shorter is a perfect place to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Pinkston Lake a quite wet location; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October.
