Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cotaco Creek; camping is available at Riverview Campground. High temperatures at Pine Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Pine Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.       All the water falling down from the sky makes Pine Lake a wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. For you golfers we recommend close by Brookside Golf Course; Cranford Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. There are some great whitewater spots on Shoal Creek; the fine folks of Albertville                  like to hang out nearby. A pleasant close by hotel is Jameson Inn Arab, and Pine Lake Dam is not far at all from Pine Lake.
