Philips Lake is a quite wet place regularly with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest of the months is October. While you're here at Philips Lake, you could also explore picturesque Riverside Number One Lake, and during your spree here you'll meet some       folks from Valley for sure. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Lanett. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flat Shoals River; camping is available at Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery. This lake is so wonderful. Mulberry Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Riverside Country Club                  is close at hand. Holiday Inn Express VALLEY - WEST POINT AREA is a nice site to get some rest, and Riverside Number Two Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Philips Lake while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's.
