A good site to camp here at Parrs Pond is Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River. | | down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Parrs Pond. Browns Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Parrs Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a tremendous local campground. month. If you get bored of Parrs Pond, you could also visit nearby Hugleys Pond; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express PHENIX CITY - COLUMBUS. This lake is so wonderful. Little Uchee is a nice whitewater spot near Parrs Pond; after a long day outdoors Ramada Limited Phenix City Alabama is a good site to spend a night or two.
