A good site to camp here at Parrs Pond is Halawaka Campgrounds and Grocery, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River. Through the days of summer at Parrs Pond highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is       down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Parrs Pond. Browns Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Parrs Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a tremendous local campground. The high level of rain makes Parrs Pond a rather wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is mostly the driest                  month. If you get bored of Parrs Pond, you could also visit nearby Hugleys Pond; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express PHENIX CITY - COLUMBUS. This lake is so wonderful.
