If you need a place to stay Anniston-Days Inn Oxford is a nice choice, and Salt Creek is a nice whitewater spot close by. If you're going to Oxford Lake from Anniston-Oxford, you won't be the only one, and you can stay the night at Country Court RV Park. It's a delightful idea to go to Wolfskull Creek, it's near Oxford Lake. There's so much to do here at Oxford Lake that you need to camp here for a while,       Cheaha Resort State Park is a pleasant spot for that. This is a brilliant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Blue Pond is a lake around here; after a long day outdoors RALOX - Red Carpet Inn Oxford is a good spot to spend a night or two. So many amusing things to do here at Oxford Lake, too pleasant to be true. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cheaha Creek, and there are nice places to explore along the Odum                  Trail. Summertime at Oxford Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's while Oxford Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. The high level of rain makes Oxford Lake a pretty wet place; most of the rain falls during March, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Blue Spring will fill your soul with great feelings, and a golf course close by is Cider Ridge Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
