Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not pop by Robertsons Lake in the vicinity of Oxford Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cheaha Creek. A perfect close by hotel is RALOX - Red Carpet Inn Oxford, and Cheaha Resort State Park is a good campground nearby. Lake; Salt Creek is a fine whitewater spot close by. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Wolfskull Creek, and do put some time aside to spend at Blue Spring since you're here at Oxford Lake.
Oxford Lake is a wet location
that gets much precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Days Inn Oxford is a splendid site to get some rest; golf can be played at Cider Ridge Golf Club.
