Wolfskull Creek flows through this vicinity, and soar down the rapids of Salt Creek in a kayak. Much rainfall falls at Oxford Lake; March is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile
is the driest month. A great nearby hotel is Anniston-Days Inn Oxford, and if you come at the right time of year, Cheaha Creek offers some great whitewater.
