Open Pond is a pretty wet place generally with a great deal of rainfall; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. High temperatures at Open Pond throughout the months of summer are       in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Open Pond sink into the 30's. While you're here at Open Pond you can take a hike along the Lake Shore Trail; if you came to camp Gantt Lake RV Park is a pleasant place to do that.
