Stay the night at Florala State Park, and unsurprisingly, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Buck Pond is a lake in the vicinity. Open Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Alligator Pond; if the weather is glorious, you can go for       a hike along the Lake Shore Trail.
