At Newsoms Pond through the summertime highs are in the 90's, and the night is rather colder of course, usually in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Newsoms Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Chattahoochee River, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. Anthony's Mobile Park is a brilliant campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eufaula is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Point Campground is a glorious place to camp; do have a look at Comers Pond, it's a picturesque lake. Newsoms Pond is a quite wet place generally with much precipitation; during the month of                  March you get the most rain around here while October is usually the driest month.
