After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Andalusia is a perfect place to spend a night or two; Salt Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Good hiking is available along the Conecuh Trail, and unsurprisingly Persimmon Creek is a pretty stream that is worth a visit. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Nellie Ponds. If you came to camp Gantt Lake       RV Park is a great spot to do that. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Andalusia Inn; do visit Gum Pond, it's a stunning lake. At Nellie Ponds through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Nellie Ponds tend to be in the 30's. Nellie Ponds is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls through                  March, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful.
