All through the long summer days at Nellie Ponds temperatures are regularly in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 50's with temperatures at Nellie Ponds dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Nellie Ponds ordinarily gets much precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the       driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful.
