It's always fun to stop by Murphy Lake. A lot of rainfall falls at Murphy Lake; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | Dam is delightful. Whitewater paddling is nice on Sougahatchee Creek, and Murphy Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Chewacla State Park is a perfect place to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Murphy Lake generally tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Murphy Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. | |
