Louis Murphy Dam is a beautiful place near Murphy Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a nice place to camp. A good deal of rainfall falls at Murphy Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most while October is typically the driest month.
