You don’t have to go far from Murphy Lake to catch a sight of the water at Louis Murphy Dam. There's so much to do here at Murphy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chewacla State Park is a good location for that. For the period of the summertime at Murphy Lake highs are commonly in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Murphy Lake

pop by Bruce Pond Number Three since you're here at Murphy Lake; it's close by, and whitewater paddling is good on Little Uchee.
