At Murphy Averette Lake during the warm months highs are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. You don’t have to go       far from Murphy Averette Lake to distinguish the water at Murphy Averette Dam. There's so much to do here at Murphy Averette Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spillway Campground is a delightful place for that. Lenson Montgomery Lake Number 1 is a nearby lake that you could stop at. There's some flowing water nearby, Brush Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay; if you came to camp Payne Lake Eastside Campground is a great place to do                  that.
