Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Gurley Creek, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a glorious choice. One of the governing traits of the surroundings of Mountain Lake
is Village Mountain, and if you get bored of Mountain Lake you could also have a look at close by Lake Pittman.
There's so much to do here at Mountain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Holiday Travel Park is a delightful
place for that, and Mountain Lake is not the only site nearby, Woodhaven Lake is a nearby lake. Mountain Lake gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls during March; October on the other hand is the driest.
