Alabama has many beautiful lakes and Moon Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is always a pleasant experience, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Lake Oliver. Camping is available at Anthony's Mobile Park, and paddling on Chattahoochee River is so much fun.
A great nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Phenix City, and playing golf is lots of fun at Lakewood Golf

| | Course. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Moon Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Moon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Moon Lake Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. Lakes are wonderful; Lake Oliver is a lake that's in the vicinity of Moon Lake.
