You're perhaps interested in lakes, Lake Oliver is one of those close by; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Moon Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 50's; after the sun is       down throughout the winter temperatures at Moon Lake descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Moon Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Oliver is near Moon Lake, and lots of folks from Columbus come here. Near Moon Lake you find a golf course called Lakewood Golf Course; obviously Holland Creek flows through this neighborhood. Moon Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation;                  the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a great campground nearby, and Moon Lake Dam is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
