Moon Lake is a lake worth visiting. You'll meet a lot of folks from Summerville here; dry warm beds await you at Fort Payne-Days Inn. This lake is so wonderful. It's always brilliant to take a look at De Soto Falls, and a round of golf at nearby Lil' Mole Run Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time. Little River - West Fork has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Little River Canyon National Preserve is a wonderful location close by. Moon

| | Lake is a wet site that gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area right next door to Moon Lake has to offer. No need to travel far to stop by out of the ordinary stuff like Sunset Rock, and Moon Lake is not the only site nearby, Republic Lake is a nearby lake. This lake | |

is so wonderful. Do stop by A A Miller Dam while you're here at Moon Lake; a lake nearby is Desoto State Park Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River - East
Fork; Moon Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, De Soto State Park is a wonderful local campground. For the duration of the summertime months here at Moon Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and during
summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Moon Lake tend to be in the 20's. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Fort Payne is a perfect
place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Moon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Laney is a fine spot for that.
