Glide down the rapids of Walnut Creek in a kayak; camping is available at Kountry Air. Don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Blue Creek; camping at Horse Stomp Campground is always a great experience. There are other spots here than Mitchell Lake, for example Woodward Lake, and Best Western Inn is a great site to get some rest. A good deal of                  rainfall falls at Mitchell Lake; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest month is October. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Mitchell Lake.
