    What a nice lake Mimosa Lake is. Bob's Campground and Marina is a splendid campground nearby, and not far from Mimosa Lake you get some nice water scenery at Mimosa Park Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Tuscaloosa is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; why not take a refreshing hike along the Payne Lake Nature Trail. Just can't get enough of Mimosa Lake. Lakes? Sure, Friday Lake is around here, and if you're looking  
   for some flowing water? Try Cribbs Mill Creek.
Lots of folks from Tuscaloosa come to Mimosa Lake, and a round of golf at nearby Mimosa Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. There are other places here than Mimosa Lake, for example Sewage Lagoon South. Mimosa Lake frequently gets a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.

               tend to be in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 70's.
