     Do have a look at Mimosa Park Dam while you're here at Mimosa Lake; you can stay the night at Knox Hill RV Resort. Going for a hike on the Payne Lake Nature Trail is always a delightful adventure, and at Mimosa Lake you always meet someone from Tuscaloosa. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Mimosa Lake is unbeatable! Bob's Campground and Marina is a pleasant campground nearby, and you'll discover a scenic lake called Friday Lake. For the period of the  
   warm months at Mimosa Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mimosa Lake drop into the 30's.
An afternoon playing golf at Mimosa Golf Course is always a bliss. Mimosa Lake gets a great deal of water; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               After a long day outdoors Courtyard Tuscaloosa is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Cribbs Mill Creek.
Jameson Inn Tuscaloosa is a glorious spot to get some rest; do explore Sewage Lagoon South, it's a scenic lake.
