Milligans Pond is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Gunter Hill Park is a pleasant location to camp nearby, and Cooper Branch Narrows Lake Dam is a beautiful spot, absolutely worth going to. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Milligans Pond. The       high level of rainfall makes Milligans Pond a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Summertime highs at Milligans Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Milligans Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Kountry Air is a great                  local campground, and Sawyer Swamp is a swamp in the vicinity of Milligans Pond.
