     You'll meet a lot of people from Talladega-Sylacauga here, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Elkahatchee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Miller Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Miller Lake dip into the 20's. Wind Creek State Park is a nice local campground, and if you've had enough  
   of Miller Lake, Allen and Hall Reservoir Cobbs is nearby.
Be careful coming to Miller Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. A quick tour to Whortleberry Creek near Miller Lake is a perfect idea, and Miller Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Whispering Springs Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Denny Lake is one of those nearby; playing golf is lots of
 
               fun at Willow Point Golf and Country Club. Miller Lake generally gets much rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Hatchet Creek, and Best Western Horseshoe Inn is a good place to get some rest. Miller Dam is a place that is in the vicinity of Miller Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Alexander City.
