Not far from McCay Lake, you'll hit upon Skyview Lake which is a scenic lake; if you need a site to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Gardendale is a great choice. During the summer highs here at McCay Lake get into the 80's; the overnight is a little chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Through the wintertime       highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to McCay Lake. McCay Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. There's just no way someone can get bored here at McCay Lake. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Mulberry Fork; a quick tour to Coaldale Creek is beyond doubt a perfect idea. Why not camp at Good Hope Campground since you're here                  at McCay Lake; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Hanceville. This lake is so wonderful. Here at McCay Lake you'll most likely meet some folks from Cullman It's always brilliant to take a look at Chalybeate Spring. This lake is so wonderful.
