There are plenty of folks from Cullman here at McCay Lake. Lakes are wonderful; Skyview Lake is a lake that's close to McCay Lake. McCay Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls throughout March, and October is the month with the least moisture. McCay Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. A perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Hanceville, and Country       View RV Park is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Coaldale Creek flows through this region, and you can stay the night at Good Hope Campground. Don't leave McCay Lake without first paying a visit to Chalybeate Spring, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Mill Creek. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to spot at Marshall McCay Lake Dam in the vicinity of McCay Lake, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling                  is Mulberry Fork. All through the long summer days at McCay Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at McCay Lake temperatures fall to the 20's.
