What a nice lake McCay Lake is. If you came for an overnight stay Country View RV Park is a tremendous location to camp; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mulberry Fork. At McCay Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's; the overnight is quite cooler of course, usually in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for McCay Lake. Dry warm

Mill Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at McCay Lake is nice fun, Good Hope Campground is a nice local campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Chalybeate Spring since you're here at McCay Lake. McCay Lake is
a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October.
