A tremendous site for whitewater paddling near McCann Lake is Little Uchee, and Days Inn Phenix City is a nice place to get some rest. The high level of precipitation makes McCann Lake a quite wet location; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       McCann Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a nice local campground; you're sure to run into some wonderful people from Columbus here. Summertime highs at McCann Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at McCann Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Any time                  is a brilliant time at McCann Lake if you go for the outdoors. A magnificent place to camp here at McCann Lake is Anthony's Mobile Park, and as expected, this is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Monte Pond is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful.
