McBrayer Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Tuscumbia RV Park is a glorious place to camp nearby; there are some glorious whitewater       spots on Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork. McBrayer Lake frequently gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October. If you're here at McBrayer Lake, you could take a look at Hooker Spring Branch, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Borden Creek Trail. So many cool things to do at McBrayer Lake, so little time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you                  then we recommend Sipsey Fork, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Braziel Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at McBrayer Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's while McBrayer Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
