Sand Pit New Hope Church Lake is a pleasant lake in the neighborhood of McBrayer Lake, and great hiking is available along the Braziel Creek Trail. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. McBrayer Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Tuscumbia RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Key West Inn Tuscumbia(Shoals). A       quick visit to Hooker Spring Branch in the neighborhood of McBrayer Lake is a good idea; there's good hiking along the Borden Creek Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to McBrayer Lake while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at McBrayer Lake throughout the winter commonly fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Wynnewood Inn is a magnificent choice; paddling                  on Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Sipsey Fork. Lakes? Sure, Robertsons Lake is in the vicinity. A large amount of precipitation falls at McBrayer Lake; through March this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.
