Camping at Payne's RV Park is always a great experience, and going for a hike on the Braziel Creek Trail is always a good adventure. McBrayer Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rain; March is when you get the most rain here; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Wynnewood Inn; there's some flowing water close by, Hooker Spring Branch       is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. Camping is available at Tuscumbia RV Park, and you can run the rapids of Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork. If you need a site to stay Key West Inn Tuscumbia(Shoals) is a tremendous choice, and Coffin Hollow is in the vicinity, and is a magnificent location. During the warm days of summer highs here at McBrayer Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The cold days                  of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at McBrayer Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at McBrayer Lake.
