Throughout the summer at McBrayer Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at McBrayer Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Coffin Hollow is a splendid place to spend some time at, and paddling on Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork is so much fun. A lot of precipitation       falls at McBrayer Lake; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Borden Creek Trail; if you need a place to stay Wynnewood Inn is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Hooker Spring Branch next to McBrayer Lake is a fine idea; dry warm beds await you at Key West Inn Tuscumbia(Shoals). The Braziel Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need                  more than a day to discover everything McBrayer Lake has to offer, you can camp at Payne's RV Park. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do in close proximity to McBrayer Lake.
