If you came to camp Lakeside RV Park is a perfect place to do that, and close by you hit upon the Payne Lake Nature Trail which is a great hiking trail. At Matthews Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets                  highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Matthews Lake plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
