If you came for an overnight stay Wind Creek State Park is a good site to camp; hiking along the Odum Trail is great fun. Not far from Martins Lake, you'll discover Blair Lake Number 2 which is a wonderful lake. If you're stopping by Martins Lake from Talladega-Sylacauga, you won't be the only one, and golf can be played

A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Horseshoe Inn; whitewater paddling is delightful on Cheaha Creek. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Martins Lake has it all.
