There's so much to do here at Maddox Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Montgomery Koa is a wonderful site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Maddox Lake there are plenty of people from Montgomery; Maddox Dam is a stunning place, absolutely worth stopping at. During the warm       months highs here at Maddox Lake get into the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Maddox Lake. Maddox Lake gets a lot of water; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Stay the night at Sugar Ridge Campground; not far from Maddox Lake you'll locate McQueens Pond which is a lovely lake.
