Through the days of summer at Lonesome Duck Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lonesome       Duck Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Chattahoochee River offers some splendid whitewater, of course you could also stop at Bradley Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Anthony's Mobile Park is a tremendous campground nearby, and this is a popular place for folks from Columbus. A lake close by is Bradleys Pond, and a pleasant close by hotel is Econo Lodge At Ft. Benning. You assume that's enough? Just getting                  warmed up. Lonesome Duck Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a good spot to camp nearby.
