You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lineville Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cheaha Resort State Park; the Odum Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Oxford I-20, AL is a glorious site to get some rest, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Cheaha Creek. At Lineville Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's.

| | During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lineville Lake are in the 30's. This place, Lineville Lake, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. There's so much to do here at Lineville Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fernwood Point is a tremendous location for that, and swing by North Fork Crooked Creek it's a great spot to stop at. Lake, and Clay County Public Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Oxford is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Lineville Lake is a wet location that gets a lot of rain; during March
this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. A striking lake like City Lake near Lineville Lake is a great site to have a look at, and there's whitewater on Salt Creek for all you thrill seekers.
