     There are some delightful whitewater spots on Bear Creek, unsurprisingly you could also check out Kilpactrick Dairy Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. If you're into cool geologic features, try Cofield Bend, and Lehman Dam is not far at all from Lehman Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Lehman Lake. Ikes Knob is clearly visible from Lehman Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Payne's RV Park is a glorious  
   spot to camp. A large amount of precipitation falls at Lehman Lake; December is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
Summertime highs at Lehman Lake generally tend to be in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lehman Lake. After a long day outdoors Wynnewood Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two; Donaldson Branch is
 
               near Lehman Lake and is always a diversion to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Russellville Hotel & Suites is a fine place to get some rest, and Lehman Lake is not the only place nearby, Upper Bear Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake.
There's whitewater on Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork for all you adrenaline people.

Water flow is controled by TVA, in summer they let enough through to float on weekends and holidays. The rest of the year can be high or low anytime....The land on each side of the creek is private property. Camping is not allowed. There is only an emergency exit easment on each side of the creek. If you camp you will be trespassing....
