For the period of the warm months here at Lees Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lees Pond all through the winter regularly sink into the 20's. Lees Pond is not the only place close by, Cribbs Pond is a close by lake; you'll most likely meet some folks from Huntsville here. This       lake is so wonderful. Huntsville Municipal Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by, and Lees Pond is a good site to camp, Mill Creek Campground is a good site. This site is excellent, just explore all the exciting things to do in the vicinity of Lees Pond. Holiday Inn Hotels Huntsville W I 565 (Madison) is a wonderful location to get some rest, and a cool spot to explore is Lewis Buff. Dry warm beds await you at The Westin Huntsville - Opening April                  1, 2008, and as expected Crowder Slough flows through this area. A lot of rain falls at Lees Pond; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; August on the other hand is the driest. A glorious spot to explore close to Lees Pond is Lees Bar, and Cotaco Creek is a nice whitewater spot close by.
