You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lees Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chewacla State Park, and Davis Lake is a nice lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Travelodge Opelika, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not have a look at Johnson Lake. For the       period of the warm days of summer at Lees Lake highs are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Lees Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
