Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flat Shoals River, and there are plenty of people from Valley here at Lanier Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Lanier Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Mulberry Creek offers some great whitewater, and not far from Lanier Lake you get some good water scenery at Lanier Dam. If you came to camp       3 Creeks RV Park is a nice place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Lanett-Days Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. During the summer months at Lanier Lake highs are frequently in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; overnight lows in the 20's for Lanier Lake. You're probably hooked on lakes, West Point Lake is one of those close by,                  and Econo Lodge Lanett is a wonderful site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Lanier Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blanton Creek Park is a magnificent place for that. Lakes are magnificent; Jones Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Lanier Lake. Getting to Barrow Creek from Lanier Lake is uncomplicated; Riverside Country Club is a fine golf course nearby.
